Dance Audition Material
To ensure the health and safety of all those auditioning and the production team, we have two options for our September 12th & 13th auditions:
We will have in person auditions at the UNF amphitheater. The first part of your audition will be for vocals; you will prepare 1 minute (about 16 bars) from a musical of your choice. The next part will be for acting; you will perform a monologue we provide. The monologue options will be posted on our website before the auditions.
We will have virtual auditions, over Zoom, for the last hour of the audition day. The material and itinerary will be the same as in person auditions.
Auditions will be held September 12th & 13th - in person from 10am to 3pm, and online from 3:30 to 4:30pm. If there are technical difficulties, we will ask you return to the zoom at 4:30. Please complete your audition packet, located on the website, and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. In order to properly follow CDC and university guidelines, you must reserve your audition time using the app Calendly. Time slots will be available in 5 minute incriminates.
The in person auditions will be socially distanced and masks will be required for the duration of the day, including while you audition. All dance auditions need to be self- recorded and sent in via email, this is NOT done live over zoom. These videos are due Sunday, September 13th at 11:59 pm. All information regarding callbacks will be posted on our website, https://www.unfswooptroupe.com, on September 5. These options are subject to change based on University and Swoop Troupe guidelines. If you have any questions, please email the Stage Manager, Jasper Esquivel, at email@example.com
